Perhaps unsurprisingly, the largest private library in England ran out of space. A slip of land on Duke Street at the back of the library was commandeered to house several floors of rolling racking as well as a leased café on the ground and basement floors. At ten floors, this is our tallest building so far. Pleasingly, it, and our authorship, also get a mention in Pevsner.
Other projects completed in 1994:
Westminster: The Lower Vestibule at the National Gallery
Kent: Danson House (for English Heritage)
